Potbelly fans, your favorite sandwich shop heard you. On November 11, 2024, the restaurant will officially launch two new sandwich offerings: The Cubano and Sweet Heat Pork BBQ. This is the brand’s way of showing they recognize their fans’ desire for bold flavor combinations and customization options. That’s not even the best part, because the two new toasty sandwiches will have permanent spots on Potbelly’s sandwich menu lineup! So what’s special about these new items?

Let’s start with The Cubano, which is among the most popular limited-edition sandwiches from Potbelly. It features slow-cooked pulled pork, layered with Swiss cheese, pickles, deli mustard, and hickory-smoked ham. Meanwhile, the Sweet Heat BBQ sandwich perfectly captures “swicy” flavors. It also comes with slow-cooked pulled pork, combined with pickles and cheddar cheese. Everything’s smothered in a new BBQ sauce made with hot peppers. Remember when Potbelly said that eating two sandwiches is an act of self-love? That’s your sign to try these two new toasty sandwiches!

To bring more excitement, Potbelly also expanded its lineup of permanent sauce options, adding more flavor punch and heat. Made with Potbelly’s signature hot peppers, these two new sauces are now up for grabs: Sweet Heat BBQ sauce and Hot Pepper Ranch. The latter has already been introduced as a limited-time offer before, but it’s now making a comeback as a permanent menu item. Try both or any of these sauces if you’re looking to elevate the heat of your toasted Potbelly sandwich. To complete the expanded menu of its permanent sauces, Potbelly is introducing two more options: Red Wine Vinegar and Roasted Garlic Aioli, offering guests more ways to customize their favorite menu items.

According to Potbelly’s Director of Consumer Insights and Innovation, Eric Chenel, the team is all about taking the Potbelly experience to the next level. With the introduction of new sandwiches and flavorful sauces, guests can create bold-flavored meals they can finally call their own, he added.
